I’m giving notice that there are to be two proposed amendments to the constitution of the UTS Students’ Association.
The first amendment is for the section 14.4 (a) (vi) to be changed from “any matter referred to it by the SRC (by majority resolution), by the Executive (by majority resolution), or at the request of a personnel committee comprised of University staff” to read “ any matter referred to it by the SRC (by majority resolution), by the Executive (by majority resolution), or at the request of a personnel committee comprised of Association staff”.
The second amendment is for the section 4.1 (i) to be changed from “all general members” to read “14 general members”.
There will be a vote at the March SRC Meeting on the 23rd of March 2020 at 6 pm to approve these changes which will be subject of approval of University Council.
