Whether you’re interested in championing student welfare, driving educational improvements, or managing key organisational responsibilities, we have a role for you!

  • President $47,626.80 per annum plus super

Step into the role of President and become the driving force behind our student leadership. As President, you'll ensure the SRC's directives are implemented effectively, manage the Association's assets, and build strong community relationships to advocate for student welfare. You'll represent students' interests to University authorities, lead conflict resolution efforts, support staff welfare, and provide detailed activity reports at every SRC meeting. This position is your opportunity to lead with impact and make a real difference.

  • General Secretary $23,813.40 per annum plus super

Your role involves producing the Association’s Handbook, ensuring all members are informed and engaged, and maintaining comprehensive records of meetings and elections. You'll also assist in financial oversight and correspondence, ensuring transparency and adherence to SRC directives. This position is perfect for those who excel in organisation and communication, and it offers a chance to play a key role in the smooth running of the Association.

  • Assistant General Secretary $7,000 per annum plus super

Support the General Secretary and help manage the Association’s communications and online presence. As Assistant General Secretary, you’ll assist in the creation of the Handbook, moderate social media, and draft press releases. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and an interest in digital media, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to the Association’s operations and gain valuable experience in a supportive role.

  • Welfare Officer $7,000 per annum plus super

Champion student welfare as our Welfare Officer. You'll ensure that issues affecting UTS students’ well-being are addressed by the SRC, work with the University and Association to enhance student welfare, and represent student concerns in consultations. This role offers a unique chance to make a positive impact on campus life and advocate for student needs, all while gaining valuable experience in student advocacy and support.

  • Education Officer $7,000 per annum plus super

Drive improvements in student education as our Education Officer. You'll bring educational issues to the SRC's attention, communicate with students and staff about educational welfare, and represent student concerns in consultations. This position is perfect for someone passionate about enhancing educational experiences and keen to play a significant role in shaping academic policies and support.

  • Women’s Officer $5,900 per annum plus super

As the Women’s Officer, you'll advocate for the welfare of women, transgender, and non-binary students. Your responsibilities include addressing issues affecting these groups, working with the University and Association, and representing their interests in consultations. This role requires lived experience as a woman and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on campus diversity and inclusion.

  • Indigenous Officer $5,900 per annum plus super

Promote the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students as our Indigenous Officer. You’ll ensure their issues are brought to the SRC, collaborate with the University and Association, and represent their perspectives in consultations. This role provides a platform to support Indigenous students and contribute to the cultural and social enrichment of the campus community.

  • Postgraduate Officer $5,900 per annum plus super

Advocate for postgraduate students as our Postgraduate Officer. You'll address their specific needs, work with the University and Association to enhance their experience, and represent their interests in consultations. This role is tailored for a postgraduate student eager to support their peers and influence policies that impact the postgraduate community.

  • International Officer $5,900 per annum plus super

Support the needs of international students as our International Officer. You’ll ensure their concerns are heard, collaborate with the University and Association, and represent their interests in consultations. This position offers a chance to enhance the experience of international students and make a significant impact on campus diversity and global engagement.

  • Vertigo Editorial Stipend $40,000 per term divided by the number of elected editors that have completed their term to a maximum of $5,000 per person plus super
