Elections

The Student Representative Council (SRC) is a team of UTS students elected annually by the student body, to represent all UTS students. It is also the governing body of the UTS Students' Association (UTSSA) and is chaired by the UTSSA President.

Elections for the SRC and Vertigo (UTS student magazine) take place in the Spring Semester of each year. UTS students can vote for the following positions:

Elected by and from the student body

General Secretary

Elected by and from the student body

Assistant Secretary

Elected by and from the student body

Postgraduate Officer

Elected by and from postgraduate students

Women's Officer

Elected by and from students who have lived experience as a woman

International Students' Officer

Elected by and from students who hold an Overseas Student Visa

Welfare Officer

Elected by and from the student body

Education Officer

Elected by and from the student body

Indigenous Officer

Elected by and from Australian Indigenous Students

14 General Councillors

Elected by and from the student body

7 delegates to the National Union of Students

Elected by and from the student body

Vertigo Editorial Team

Elected by and from the student body
