The Welfare Department & Collective is open to anyone interested in the student wellbeing, especially as we work through our studies at UTS. We organise projects that support affordable eating, and promote access to mental health support, bulk-billing health services, affordable transport & housing, free legal services, academic support and financial help, both on and off campus.

The Collective is also a space to fight for broader welfare rights, such as saving Medicare, protecting access to Centrelink, ensuring full pay for young workers, and opposing education fee increases.

If you’re interested in being involved, contact welfare@utsstudentsassociation.org or look up UTSSA Welfare Department on Facebook.
